Here is an article that has been in the pipeline for ages now .but its only now that i hav been pushed to the brink,to such high levels of frustration(and of course, joblessness!d'uh!) that i finally sit down to pen down my noble views on the physics lab at nitt.this might seem to some of u readers like the lamest of topics that i can come up with, but believe me,if u have had the same kind of bizarrely comic trauma that i manage to experience nearly every practical session, you will be giving me a treat for penning down these views!
well, one of my frnds, who happens to b one of my partners in the lab, stated a law a few days ago which goes like-
"if there is a worst apparatus available in the physics lab, then harshavardhan shall end up with it!"
when this law(stupid as it might seem) was made,i had completed 5 experiments in the list of 8 , out of which i handpicked defective apparatus 3 times,a majority.i scoffed a bit when my frnd stated this law ,and so, determined to pick up a proper apparatus for a change,i arrived for the next week's practical ten minutes early, before any of my batchmates!and i looked carefully at the four choices i had ,finally settling down with what i felt was easily the best of the lot!...surprise surprise,i found out then that the law holds good whether i get to choose an apparatus or i get landed with one when i cum late!!......!yup!once again,i proved that i have the knack of ending up with the only apparatus which is faulty!!....i struggled for for a long time trying to see if i could manage with it,then realising that it was a lost cause,i asked for a change in apparatus!luckily,i got a replacement!i was elated, thank god!finally i can start the damn thing and get it done with quickly!........and yet again, the law held sway!!!.......a second faulty apparatus!!!(just how this happens to me every time i dont know!).....and as my dear frnd who formulated the law a few days before gave an empathetic smile,i couldnt help smile ....perhaps in comic resignation and acceptance of my wierd ability!!eventually, owing to the fact that it was the very last apparatus available, that i had proved to b faulty,i was made to team up with my friend!salvation at last.!
so thats our physics lab!i would call it a lucky day and send a love letter to emma watson if my apparatus works without a snag!till then, the letter stays in my room, waiting to b posted!!
